where elders stay pretty much all day long

the elder's den is in a hallowed out tree (struck by lightning)
there are ledges among the inside of the tree, so the elders may have their own little space (it makes it less crowded)

where queens come to give birth and raise their kits (until they become apprentices, anyway)

a shelter built by the cats of the clan
mostly mad of sticks, brambles, and moss (and rocks surrounding the ouside to help keep the sticks/brambles in place)

where all the warriors come to rest

the warriors den lies in a hole beneath a willow which lies in the middle of camp

this is where you may talk with the leader/deputy in private
also, where the leader sleeps

Flowerstar's den is in an old, dead monster (old fashioned pick up truck, she sleeps in the cab/front end)

she stands upon it when she wants to call the clan to a meeting

where the medicine cat stores his/her herbs

the medicine cat's den can be found underneath a large boulder

Herbs: (for infections or wounds herbs are usually chewed and applied instead of eaten)
Borage leaves- Increases milk supply for for nursing queens and brings down fever
Burdock root- Cures infection (must be washed of before applied to wound)
Catmint- Best remedy for greencough
Chervil- Leaves: Helps disinfect wounds (spread on), Root: Chewing it helps cure bellyaches
Cobweb- Stops bleeding (wrap around wound)
Coltsfoot- Helps shortness of breath
Comfrey- Chewed then applied wounds, helps mend broken bones and soothes wounds
Dock- Chew and apply to scratches, soothes the wound (similar to Sorrel)
Dried Oak Leaf- Stops infections (store in dry place)
feverfew- Cools down body temp. (mostly used for cats with a fever or chills)
Goldenrod- Terrific at healing wounds (chew to a poultice)
Honey- Great for soothing infctions or cats who have breathed smoke
Horsetail- a poultice of this treats infected wounds
Juniper Berries- Soothes bellyaches and helps cats who have trouble breathing
Lavender- Cures fever
Marigold- Applied to stop infections
Mouse Bile- Dab ticks with moss that has mouse bile, the tick will come off (wash paws afterward)
Poppy Seed- Makes cats sleep, helps soothes cats suffering from shock or distress
Sorrel- (see Dock)
Stinging Nettle- Seeds: given to cats whom have swallowed poison, Leaves: Applied to wounds to bring down swelling
Tansy: Cures coughs (must be eaten in small doses)
Thyme- Calms anxiety and frayed nerves
Watermint- chewed and eaten to cure bellyaches
Wild Garlic- helps prevent infection (very useful for rat bites)
Yarrow- applied to wounds or scratches to get rid of poison
